The Nite Ize Inova X2 is a compact LED flashlight with the durability needed for tactical use. Its one-piece tubular body is made from aerospace-grade aluminum, with a wear-resistant anodized finish. Its reinforced stainless steel head protects the optics from damage, and it features a steel clip for portability. Its bright white LEDs and machined aluminum reflector produce a tight focused spot beam with flood illumination, with a maximum brightness of 272 lumens. It is powered by a pair of AA alkaline batteries, making it easy to switch them out in the field for extended range. The convenient end-cap switch provides constant and momentary activation at two power settings, as well as access to a lockout mode that prevents accidental switch-ons.
