This Bear Song V Pattern 500 features a Hollow Ground 3-7/8 blade edge and is made with 1095 Carbon Steel with a Black Powder Coated Finish, which holds a keen edge, is easy to sharpen, but does require a light coat of oil to prevent rust. The blade swings open rapidly because it rides on Bronze Phosphorous Washers and has two durable stainless-steel Tang Pins. The 5-3/8 T-6 Aircraft Aluminum Handles features an exchangeable latch for secure fastening. B-500-B weighs 4.5 ounces and is proudly made in the USA.
